First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CHR Solutions.
Account Executive
Got through three screening stages: two recruiter calls and one with the hiring manager. The hiring manager was really biased and wouldn't even consider a phone call, just looking at my resume and seeing some short stints from layoffs. The staff seemed critical and misguided, wanting someone willing to travel 70% and dismissing any experience with a 'farmer' style of selling. Apparently, their Omnia360 software isn't selling well, and the company has high turnover. Management seems to be overlooking qualified candidates.
- Would you describe yourself as more of a 'hunter' or a 'farmer' in sales?
Team Leader
The interview process can vary a bit depending on who you talk to. You'll be asked questions that cover both technical and functional aspects of the role. It really just depends on the interviewer. You'll get questions touching on both your technical abilities and your functional knowledge. It's up to the interviewer. Expect questions that test both your technical and functional skills.
- Can you tell me about your strengths?
Software Support Specialist
For this selection process, there are three parts. First, an aptitude test, then a technical test. After passing those, I had my personal interview. It was a panel interview with just one person. She asked me to introduce myself and then asked me questions about the Software Support Specialist role, mostly about SQL. She also asked me to write some SQL programs. After the interview, she said they'd be in touch.
- Tell me about yourself. Then, can you answer some questions about the Software Support Specialist job? Also, can you write some SQL programs?
Associate Software Engineer
The interviewer asked some questions on java, sql and microservices. Then, I was asked to explain my project and again asked microservices and asp.net questions. The interviewer was friendly and most questions were in sql and java.
- Can you explain how exceptions are handled?
- Tell me about your project.
- What are your thoughts on microservices?
