I got a missed call, then an email to schedule a phone interview. The phone screen felt scripted and awkward. I could hear the interviewer typing up my answers as I spoke. There wasn't much connection or natural conversation, just straight Q&A. The interviewer's tone was a bit condescending when I mentioned wanting to leave my current 'Temp' recruiting role after only a few months. It felt like I had to justify wanting benefits, a better salary, and more stability, which are normal things to seek. To her credit, she was upfront and said I wasn't what they were looking for because they needed someone with more experience, even though they had my resume and knew my background. The job description said '1 to 3 years exp. in recruiting, sales or hr', and I'm a recruiter with almost 5 years of sales experience, so it makes no sense. It was a waste of time, and I won't interview with this company again.

First, they review your resume. Then, there's a phone interview. After that, I had to do a quick online test for basic math and language skills. Next up was a group interview with some senior people and the recruiter. If I had passed that, the next step would have been a mock marketing campaign, but I didn't make it that far.

It was a group interview, and it seemed like a lot of inexperienced people in their early 20s and 30s acting like they knew everything. Some people didn't seem to be in the right position and were in a bad mood. It feels like a company that is too focused on numbers and might have a lot of micromanaging. They seem to want to train robots.

It was a pretty straightforward process, and they guided me through it well. Everyone I met during the interviews was really nice and helpful. It started with submitting my application, then a phone chat, followed by an online test, and finally, I had two in-person interviews.
