Account Executive
It's a 3-4 step interview process, pretty standard. You'll have a recruiter screen, then talk to a Hiring Manager or Seller, then an Account Manager, and finally an Executive. They'll ask general behavioral questions, about your sales history, how you collaborate with teams, and your outbound sales strategy.
- Can you describe your most successful sales cycle, detailing how you found the lead and closed the deal?
- Please share your sales attainment history.
- Tell me about your experience working with different teams.
Marketing Executive
After applying on LinkedIn, I got a response really fast. The first call was with the Senior People Specialist and it was good for understanding the company culture and what they expected. Then, I talked with the Head of People/Operations, which was a more in-depth interview about my qualifications and how I fit the role. After that, I met with important people like the CEO, the Marketing Team, and the Head of Revenue and Strategy. Each meeting gave me a different view of the company's goals and the role's importance. They were really open and honest, which made me feel like I could trust them and work well with them.
- Tell me about a marketing campaign you managed successfully before. What were the main strategies and results?
- How do you keep up with new marketing trends and tech? Can you give an instance where you used a new trend or tech to boost marketing results?
- What's your method for creating a marketing plan for a new product or market entry?
Partnership Marketing
This was the weirdest, most unprofessional interview I've ever had. The HR interview was fine, but the next one was with this really rude guy. He didn't have any actual questions prepared, and it felt like he was always trying to trick me into saying something wrong. He didn't explain anything about the role or how to do well in it, and he seemed totally checked out with my experience, just wanting to hear himself talk. He even threw in some crazy math questions just to try and get a laugh out of me. If he treats potential hires like that, I can't imagine how he manages his actual team.
- What's your experience with Salesforce?
- Describe how you'd handle a difficult client.
- Can you solve some absurd math problems?
Financial Accountant
It was a pretty straightforward interview with one person. There was a possibility of two more interviews if I advanced. They asked basic questions about my past work history and my experience with accounting practices. The interviewer also asked about my compensation preferences, which made me think a second interview would happen, but it didn't. I might have accepted if they'd offered, it seems like an interesting company.
- Can you tell me about your previous work experience?
- Do you prefer working in a large team or a small team?
