First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Choate Hall & Stewart.
Contract Attorney
I was hired through a placement service. They were respectful and helpful, and I enjoyed meeting everyone, including the teams I'd be working with. The placement firm really helped during the process. Once an offer came through, getting onboarded was easy.
- Could you tell me about your previous experience working at large law firms?
Technology Specialist
The interview process was super fast, they wanted to schedule the next steps really quickly after each interview which I thought was great. I got to the third round and met about 6-7 people over zoom and in person for a few hours at their downtown office. I never heard back from HR after meeting everyone and I think this is a huge red flag and they were disrespectful of my time.
- What is your motivation for seeking employment at Choate?
Vice President
I went through a bunch of interviews over a pretty long time with different people on the team. It felt like a good group, very pro, and seemed like everyone was on the same page about stuff. Overall, it looks like a great place to work.
- Can you tell me more about your personal background and experiences?
- What motivated your interest in this particular position?
- What do you envision for your career path in the future?
Marketing Coordinator
I had a phone screen first. Then there were 3 more interviews, each lasting 30 minutes, with people from the department. One interviewer was really nice and easy to talk to, another was just okay, and the third one was super rude and seemed like they didn't prepare at all for the interview.
- Can you explain what this job entails?
