I sent my CV to the HSE Department for the project and heard back in about a month for an interview. It was a phone call with the HSE Manager and Project Manager, with the HR/Admin Manager also present. The interview lasted about an hour. They asked a lot about my experience training people who speak different languages, and also checked my understanding of HSEMS, the environment, and EMS. About a week later, they called to let me know I was selected and asked for my documents (CV, education, technical qualifications). I sent those off to Chiyoda in Singapore. I got an initial offer letter by email, and after some discussion, they sent the final appointment letter. Then they started the visa process, and once that was approved, I travelled and joined the project.
