It was a good interview with smart people, and the process moved pretty fast after I met with them. I had a long day of meeting everyone and getting to know them. Overall, it was a positive experience.

The interview process was really chill, in depth, and calming. Everyone I met was super nice and happy to answer any questions about the company and the work culture. They went into detail about the role and what's expected from the team.

So I had a phone interview first and it went super well. Then I had an interview with John. It also went really well, and he told me he interviewed a bunch of people and that I was clearly qualified and lasted twice as long as anyone else. The interview with John only lasted 10min. I haven't heard anything back from HR since then, even though I followed up twice via email. That was 3 weeks ago. I saw online that the position has been filled. I don't expect to hear from them again, especially after seeing how many bad reviews they have on Glassdoor. If you decide to apply, I understand, but for your own good, don't put anything on hold or wait for them, just keep your options open. This company seems really unprofessional.

This place is "fratastic" at best, and it seems like they hire their friends, which is a pretty accurate assessment. The interview went flawlessly. We were supposed to have a 15-minute phone interview that actually lasted about 45-50 minutes. The interviewer was extremely impressed with my background and experience. After a series of some awkward questions, such as, "are you offended easily" and my answer being no, we ended the phone conversation very positively. Afterwards, he said I would definitely hear back from him either way on next steps. There was no doubt in my mind I would at least have gotten a face-to-face based on our interaction. I followed up with a professional thank you email 24 hours later. A week later I followed up with an email asking if there was anything I could provide during the process. 2 weeks later I followed up asking if the position was still open... nothing. The fact that I was ghosted tells a lot about the professionalism of the "Richards" at this organization. At least a "no thanks, bye. You suck and we've moved on" would've been more efficient than wasting an hour of my time and time spent sending emails that were screened and trashed. If burning bridges with people in the same industry in Austin is the ethical and moral philosophy of this company, then I'm relieved not to be a part of their mission. So just a fair warning and hopefully you'll get someone who is actually specialized in HR and not a bro.
