First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Chiquita Brands.
Marketing Coordinator
Excellent, very helpful, respectful coordination, good attitude, good approach, I felt very comfortable. No hard questions. No arrogance. I think it's a very good company to work for but they did not call me. I think a lot of candidates applied.
- What are your salary expectations?
OBIEE Developer
The interview process was good, with detailed questions that provided a clear understanding of the job duties and responsibilities. The company also seemed to value quality of life and family considerations. The commute distance was short for me, and my skillset was a good match for the role.
- Can you tell me about a challenging situation you faced and how you managed it?
Storage Engineer
The job posting was for a position in Charlotte, NC. The first step was a call with a recruiter who had only been with the company for a month and didn't have many details about the role, nor was he technical, which made it hard to get a clear picture. The recruiter then set up a phone interview with the IT Manager in Texas. The manager was late for the call and wasn't very friendly. He asked about my current job situation and daily tasks. His attitude wasn't great, giving off a vibe of having a big ego and not being approachable for questions about the job. The interview itself was pretty dull.
- Can you describe your typical day-to-day environment and operations?
- What is the amount of storage in your environment, and what systems do you use?
- Do you have a disaster recovery site configured for your environment?
Administrative Assistant
The interview was pretty straightforward and quick. We talked about my background with sports events and non-profit organizations. The discussion covered compensation for the internship period, role responsibilities, the workplace atmosphere, and what happens after the position concludes in the fall.
- Tell me about your experience with sports events.
- Can you share your experience working with non-profits?
- We need to discuss the salary for the internship.
