I had three people interview me, and they were all really nice which made me feel pretty comfortable. I'd suggest checking out their social media and website beforehand to get a vibe for their company culture. They hit me with the usual questions: like, 'tell me about yourself,' 'strengths,' 'weaknesses,' and 'why you'd be a good fit.'

A recruiter reached out to me and prepped me for the interview. I spoke with 5 people, and it was a laid-back, conversational chat. We started with introductions, then they talked about the firm, and then they asked about my past experience, technical skills, and software knowledge. It was pretty general stuff. After that, I had to do a Revit assessment. I could do it at the office or proctored at home, so I did it proctored. It was a smooth process. It's not really a test you can fail, more to gauge skill level. They give you a Revit doc with tasks to complete. If you're stuck, they'll guide you. No need to be nervous. I liked the firm a lot and almost took the job, but the commute was too long.

I was contacted by a recruiter, and then the HR department at Chipman set up a virtual interview. It was with a group of about 10 people from the company, including some from HR, the principal, two senior architects, and I think one other project manager.
