First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Chip City.
Sales Associate
We had a group interview that started 30 minutes late, so we were on hold for a bit. The people were really nice and engaging, and the questions were pretty easy. They mentioned they'd call us back in a few days.
- What does good customer service mean to you?
Counter Staff
The interviewer asked me a lot of questions and told me about Chip City. She talked about the customers, the fanbase, the workers, and the management, and it was a good experience. You learn a lot, and the cookies are really good.
- Can you tell me about your past work experience?
Counter Staff
The interview was pretty chill and not too stressful. They asked a bunch of questions, but it was fine. It was supposed to be a group interview, but it ended up just being me. Got the job offer pretty fast after it was over.
- What's your go-to cookie?
Counter Staff
I got there half an hour before the interview time, filled out an availability sheet, and then waited. The other two candidates showed up in sweats and t-shirts, one of them eating fast food. During the group interview, I could barely get a word in because the other person wouldn't stop talking. Even so, the interviewer seemed to like my answers. You'd think arriving early in proper clothes would be better than arriving late in sweats with fast food, but apparently not. I didn't get an offer.
- Can you tell me about your past work experience?
- What's your strategy for dealing with disagreements among colleagues?
