There were two rounds. The first round involved many candidates where we had to present a view on a problem. The second round was an individual interview asking about preferences and why we chose this company.

I applied for the senior auditor role and got a call from HR. After the HR phone screen, I got an invite for the next round with the team and hiring manager. I interviewed with a team member/auditor and the hiring manager back-to-back for over an hour. The HR ghosted me for about 2 months with no updates. Then I had a third-round interview in person with the hiring manager and reporting manager, which was stated as the final round. This interview was also standard and pleasant. The interviewer mentioned I seemed like a strong candidate and could help with control testing. After following up multiple times, I never heard from HR again and didn't even get a decline email. I get that recruiting can be overwhelming, but it's basic courtesy to let candidates know they're no longer being considered after they've invested their time, especially after meeting them. It impacts your market reputation.

The whole interview process includes four stages and it went smoothly. I had been asked comprehensive questions about my financial working background. The candidates should be prepared a well-understanding about their career aspiration based on the job description. The interviewers were respectful to candidates.

First you meet the Head of Corporate Finance and the VP of the bank in Singapore. They're looking for candidates with experience in M&A deals and financial modeling. After that, there's a merger modeling test. Then, a follow-up interview to go over the modeling test results and talk about how you'd fit with the team and the wider firm. Then, they'll do a background check before making an offer.
