Got an interview after applying multiple times over many years, and only when I knew someone who worked there already. The interview itself was with 3 managers and a teacher from the age group I would work in. Managers would come and go during the interview. It was easy. They did hire me, but then acted surprised and seemed to have no clue when I asked about the position I was hired for, after putting me somewhere else.

I applied on LinkedIn on a Friday and got a call within 10 minutes for a quick 10-minute phone chat about basic things like why CLA, telling them about myself, and how my experience fits the role. They offered me an in-person interview for the next Monday morning at the corporate office. It was a 30-minute interview, and I actually asked most of the questions, like about growth opportunities and why the interviewer chose CLA. I felt really confident afterward and was told I'd hear back by the end of the week. I got the job offer the very next day!

I submitted my info online and three days later got a call to set up an interview. When I arrived, I was greeted by the two directors. They asked me some basic questions about childcare, what I loved about it, and my future career goals. They also asked about my preferred age group to work with and my previous work history, specifically my daycare experience. They wanted to know what made me a good fit for the role. Then, they explained the school's needs and asked about my expectations from them. They also walked me through the hiring process, mentioned necessary certifications, and then offered me the job right then and there.

I had a 20 minute phone interview that went pretty well. Scheduled for a second phone interview two days later with a different person, but never received a call. Reached out about not receiving a call and was told that she tried to call me. Not sure if she just forgot and didn't want to tell anyone or if she dialed the wrong number, but never received a call. They didn't offer trying to call me again or anything either.
