I had a video interview where I had to answer 13 questions. I got 1 minute to prep for each and 3 minutes to answer. It was kinda weird because it wasn't a live interview, I just saw myself on the screen answering.

had a 30 minute chat with the person in charge of the project and the current lab tech. We talked a lot about my past scientific skills that would be useful in that lab. They also went into detail about the lab setup and what the day-to-day work is like. The interviewer was super chill and really seemed to want me to do well and use this job as a stepping stone for something else.

It started with an HR phone call where they wanted to know why I'm interested in CHOP, my past experience, why I'd be a good fit, and how much I'd researched them and the manager. After that, I had an in-person interview. It was a good experience; I got a tour and met the manager. They asked me personal and professional questions, trying to get to know me beyond just my experience. It felt like they hire based on overall vibe.
