I was contacted by a recruiter about a role, after a Sr Exec passed my resume to them. The initial phone screen was very positive, and we discussed start dates and planned vacations, as they needed to fill the role quickly. The hiring manager was also very positive about my background. A team interview was then scheduled onsite, where we again discussed start dates. A week later, the recruiter gave me a cold call saying they went with another candidate. When I asked about the multiple openings, I didn't get a clear answer. The hiring manager told me that the decision wasn't about me, but the company. It was a really disappointing experience.

I sent in my application in early November 2024 and heard back from them in late January 2025. Right after, I was traveling overseas and let them know. It felt like the recruiter completely missed my email explaining I couldn't do a phone interview because I was out of the country, but that I was available for Zoom or Google Meet. Despite this, she scheduled the interview for the following Monday. She couldn't reach me because, again, I was abroad without cell service. While we were supposed to be talking, I emailed her, reminding her of my situation and that I was still open to a Zoom call, but understood if that wasn't possible. Her reply was, 'I called and left a voicemail at 12:00 pm. It went straight to VM.' I'm guessing she didn't bother reading all my email replies. Anyway, I never got to finish the initial phone screening.

after applying I got this screening form to pick 2 units and then they added more units so we could pick one more acute care floor. I got an email saying I got picked for an interview and signed up on signup genius for a time slot. They had in person and virtual, I did in person. The interview was a panel of 6 people and they each asked me 1-2 questions. It was a super engaging interview and they made it seem like they really cared about their employers. I got a call with an offer about 4 days after my interview.

My interview experience with Children's Health was really positive. The whole process involved four interviews: first, a chat with a Talent Acquisition Specialist, then a Behavioral interview with the Area Manager, followed by a Panel Interview with some Team Members, and finally an on-site interview with the Director and Manager. After all that, there was a Writing Test where I had to create some writing samples to show off my communication skills. Everyone was super nice and asked good questions about my background and if I was interested in the role. It was a great chance to meet cool people and learn about the awesome work they're doing.
