The interview was pretty relaxed and conversational. They gave me a tour of the campus and told me about the program. They mainly asked about my background working with kids and in special education. They also shared details about the children in the program.

After applying online, HR contacted me for a phone interview for a director-level position, which was strange because I didn't apply for that and don't have the qualifications. The HR screener robotically read my resume, couldn't answer my questions about CHC, suggested I was a fit for a different role, and said I'd have an in-person interview on Wednesday. After some email confusion, HR forgot to schedule it. They apologized on Thursday and wanted me to come in Friday to wrap up interviews, so I had to rearrange my schedule. I went in, but only one interviewer showed up. It seemed like they'd already chosen someone because the interview was very short and the interviewer didn't ask many questions. They then asked if I had time for the job. I felt my drive was wasted.

The interview went very smooth. The recruiter was courteous and gave me next steps, which helped me prepare. I got the job after 2 interviews. Best day ever! That is until I met HR. OMG, maybe one of the most NPC-like people I have ever met, with a dose of condescension and an actual God complex. Communicating with the leader of HR, I was belittled and made to feel small for asking questions. It was confusing and not an accurate representation of the other people I encountered.

The process was super fast and easy. First, I had a screening phone call, then I interviewed with the manager, and finally, I had an interview with the manager and program director. They were really responsive and respectful, and it was clear they were interested in getting to know me.
