Mobile Crisis Counselor
The hiring process moved really fast. After meeting a recruiter at a career fair, I had a phone interview within two weeks. Then, just a few days later, I had an in-person interview. They did offer to do the second interview virtually, but I went with in-person.

Program Director
It was a series of zoom interviews because of COVID-19, but it took a really long time to get from one interview to the next. I had to follow up because I thought they had forgotten about me. It was just an average interview process overall. Non-profits always seem to have extremely long interview processes. I would be worried about interviewing with Child Focus.
- Can you share your experience?
- How would you handle staff members?
- What's your approach to managing classrooms?
Home Visitor
The interview process was easy and I had two separate interviews. They were friendly. But, the issue was I applied for a specific job, and throughout both interviews they kept hinting at another job they had listed (that paid less) to see if I was interested in something like that. I ended up getting a job offer for the job I didn't even apply for which was pretty ridiculous. The job they offered me paid less and also had unpaid summers off. It is wrong for a company to reel in a prospective employee and mislead them in hopes of filling an entirely different position that they are probably desperate to fill. If i wanted the second position, I would of applied for that one as well. It was ultimately a waste of everyones time.
