First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Child Care Aware of America.
Provider Service Representative
It was a phone interview, and they asked a bunch of questions about the company and how I could use my skills for the job. I got hired through a temp agency, and the supervisor I'll be working with asked the questions. Most of the employees are young adults or recent college grads.
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
Coach
It was a professional interview over Zoom. It wasn't hard. The interviewers were friendly and quick to respond. I'm very excited about this opportunity. The interviewers were open and honest with all my questions or concerns and answered them. The process was timely and they readily provided and offered further information.

Referral Specialist
The whole interview process was conducted over the phone, and I didn't actually see the office until I started working there. It felt like I didn't get a clear picture of the company, and I think I was misled about the actual job duties. When I received the job offer, I was pressured to make a decision on the very same day.
- Can you describe how you would manage interactions with upset customers?
Executive Initiatives Manager
I applied and heard back within a week for a virtual interview with the Director of Talent Acquisition. It was a standard initial interview where they asked about my experience and what I'm looking for. A few days later, I had an in-person interview with the Hiring Manager and Chief of Staff. They asked more specific situational questions and we discussed my strengths and goals. Within a week, I got an email with instructions for an activity and a final interview. I was given a prompt to create a draft project plan, which I did. The final interview was a few days after submitting the plan and was similar to the second interview but with more detail. After the weekend, they contacted me about a background check and references. The offer letter came the next day.
