The interview was in-person, but they were nice and let me do it over Teams. They asked me one question and then we talked about what the company is trying to achieve and its values. I couldn't take the job because they needed someone right away and I already had another role.

My first interview was on Zoom with the district manager and it lasted only 5 minutes. Then, I had a second Zoom interview with the General Manager, who I think was getting promoted. It was kinda confusing who was in charge of what. I met the qualifications for the job, but the pay and title they advertised online weren't what they were actually offering. I was told they don't hire general managers directly, you have to start as an assistant, and the pay would be around 45-50K, not the 55-70K advertised. Also, the benefits weren't great, especially the lack of health insurance, which is a big deal because it's expensive. So, not only would I make less, but I'd also have to get my own health insurance. They ghosted me after the second interview, and I tried contacting them twice with no luck. I've moved on and found a job somewhere else, but I'm really disappointed with how disorganized their upper management seems. Honestly, it feels like I dodged a bullet, and I won't even do business with them now.

The interviewer didn't value my 6 years of military management experience and basically said it was worthless. They were negative and didn't let me finish answering some questions before they started talking again. They barely asked about my past experience, even though I have a B.S. in Culinary Arts and Nutrition and 10 years of management experience.

The hiring process was super easy and straightforward. I just had one interview with the store manager and then I was offered the job. Everyone at Chicken Salad Chick, from the employees to the managers, was really nice and the interview felt really laid-back. If you've worked in a team before, the interview questions will be a breeze.
