First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Chicago Title Insurance Company.
Sales Executive
It was a conversational interview, mostly focused on numbers. They wanted to know about my last business, my connections, and my plan to grow with them. The decision-making and interview process was very quick. It was a low-pressure and easy-going experience.
- Can you tell me about your book of business?
- What does your typical work day look like?
- What is your business strategy?
Sales Representative
The interview process was really slow and frustrating. They kept me waiting for a long time and even told me I was the last person they were considering for the job. After I had already gone through a few interviews, they said I needed another one. But then I never heard back from them.
- What's your approach to sales?
Area Representative
I was interested in becoming an Area Representative, so I walked into the regional office and spoke with the plant manager and sales manager directly. After a few weeks, they invited me for an interview. The first interview was quite in-depth, asking how I'd approach developing a sales region that was heavily dominated by competitors. The second interview was similarly demanding, but the final one was pretty laid-back and short. About a week after that, I got a letter with the job offer and information about where to start training.
- How would you build a network for professional referrals?
- How would you go about developing a sales region that has been "locked up" by competitors?
Business Analyst
They started by asking me about myself and then moved on to the technical details of my previous experience in Business Analysis. The interviewer was really nice and professional, but I'd say just be relaxed and show them who you really are.
- What makes you a good candidate for this position?
- Tell me about your prior experience and expertise in Business Analysis.
- What is your motivation for wanting to be hired for this role?
