The interview process involved three stages: a phone call, an in-person meeting with the assistant director, and a final meeting with marketing managers and the operations director. While the process felt fair and the people were very nice, it became clear this wasn't a marketing role as initially presented. They were a bit vague about the day-to-day responsibilities and expectations, and it turned out to be a sales position. The job involves going into assigned areas and making sales pitches to businesses or the public. I received an on-the-spot offer, which I declined due to the compensation not being competitive. Additionally, the office is located in Lombard, not Chicago, and travel to the city is required without mileage reimbursement, which would be a significant out-of-pocket expense.

Behavioral Presentation

I applied online. First up was a super quick meet and greet where they said they're looking for self-starters who are ready to hustle and make sales. Then, a really energetic lecture happened. Someone new explained how they work with sports teams in different regions. The whole thing was pretty fast and actually kind of fun.

They just email you if you apply. The first interview is a pretty general one and not too scary. If you make it to the second interview, you're likely in. In the second interview, they'll explain their process and how you'll earn money. The third interview covers salary and stuff, and you should get an offer after that.

It was a well-rounded interview process. The interviewers were really friendly and made me feel comfortable. I had a phone interview first, and then I went into the office for the second and third rounds. The questions were mostly about getting to know me as a person and explaining the job opportunity.
