Ticket Sales Representative
It was a straightforward and direct interview. They asked about my past work experience and how I approach problem-solving. The interview started on time and they were appreciative of my previous experience. They were also really flexible with scheduling the interview.
- How would you manage during a high volume of customers?
Marketing
I had a quick phone chat with the HR manager first, and she liked me enough to bring me in for an in-person interview the next week. There, I met with her again and the hiring manager. I spent about 45 minutes with HR, and we covered some pretty standard behavioral questions like asking about a time I had to be persistent. Then, I had another 45 minutes with the hiring manager. We dove deeper into my background and what they're looking for in this role. She asked me to send over some writing samples. The HR manager mentioned they were hoping to make an offer within the next couple of weeks. I followed up with both of them via email, but I never heard back. It's really frustrating that a company wouldn't even let me know I didn't get the job.
- Describe a situation where a colleague made an error and you had to take action to resolve it.
- Can you share an instance where you demonstrated persistence?
Manager
The interview process was quite simple. Ellen was very nice and quick with her emails. She also let me know about some challenges the company was facing.
- Can you tell me about a time you had an issue with your supervisor and how you handled it?
Assistant
I got a phone screen first, then they wanted me to come in for an interview. A week later, they offered me the job and I accepted. The onboarding was really bad, like nothing was set up for me when I started. It was super disorganized and unprofessional.
- What's your approach to handling multiple tasks simultaneously?
