It was a quick interview and they asked really basic questions about my past jobs and background. They wanted to know my availability, what schedule I was looking for, and what rate of pay I expected. We also talked about the training process, the job duties, and general expectations. Lastly, they mentioned the dress code.

So I had an interview for a Customer Service Rep role. It started with a quick intro and a greeting. I told them about my studies and my previous 6-month contract at Chevron Malaysia doing something similar. They asked me about handling customer questions, working under pressure, and dealing with tough stuff. I told them I talk to customers clearly and professionally, stay chill when fixing problems, and always try to make customers happy. I also mentioned I'm good at managing customer info and keeping records accurate. Near the end, I asked them about the job and the workplace. It finished well, and I thanked them for the chance.

It was a negative experience because of how they ended it: ghosting. After several email exchanges and two interviews, the least a candidate expects is to be notified about the process's progress. It's not difficult to send an email saying they won't consider me further for the position. This inaction, which I consider disrespectful to the candidate, says a lot about the organizational culture and the HR representatives. I guess it's good it happened so I know I don't want to work here.
