QA Associate
The hiring process involved two interviews, a written assignment, a phone offer, and orientation. The first interview was with three team managers, including the team leader, where we discussed my educational background, personal attributes, career goals, and the specifics of the position. The second interview was with a larger group of seven people—five initially, followed by two more, including the team leader's boss and training specialists. This second interview delved deeper into questions, including situational ones about on-the-job tasks, challenges, and issues. It also provided a more detailed overview of the job, its requirements, and daily responsibilities. I took notes during this part, which proved helpful for the subsequent task. After the interviews, there was a short quiz about the job, requiring a written summary of key details and training expectations, especially since it was a training position. I had a few days to submit this. Following the submission, it took about 2-3 weeks to receive a phone offer. An orientation was scheduled 1-2 days after the offer, and I started within a few days of that.

It wasn't overly demanding, but you absolutely need to be familiar with chronic mental illness and substance abuse, as these are the primary clients you'll be working with. You'll likely face situations where you need to de-escalate a crisis.
- Could you tell me about your understanding of mental illness?
