Customer Success Manager
The interview process was quite specific, asking about things like high school sports, SAT scores, and GPA, but didn't really touch on anything relevant to the actual Customer Success Manager role. It felt pretty non-transparent and didn't do much for building a connection.
- What was your SAT score?
- What was your class rank?
- What was your stack rank?
Customer Success Manager
The interview process was pretty standard, similar to what others have gone through. The interviewer let me know upfront on the initial screening call that it would be an unusual interview, wanting me to talk through my entire life starting from high school. It was manageable because I knew what to expect, but I can see how it could be surprising if I didn't. The second part involved a case study where I had to spend about 15-20 minutes analyzing a current customer's situation. After that, we did a mock interaction to figure out why they weren't getting the most out of the platform. I didn't get an offer, but I felt the process was fair because they were transparent about what they were looking for.
- Can you tell me about your resume from high school and college, including both academic and personal experiences?
- What feedback would your colleagues give you?
- Do you consider yourself the top performer in your team?
Customer Success Manager
They are very thorough, wanting to know the reasoning behind your choices and how you performed compared to your colleagues at each level. They're seeking candidates who are genuinely competitive. Answers should be brief and to the point, but they want the option to ask for more details if they wish.
- Can you tell me how much time you dedicated to your extracurricular activities in high school and the reasons behind it?
