The interview took place in a conference room where they shared examples and discussed expectations. I saw examples of similar businesses and talked about their parts and platforms. I also met the people I'd work with and others important to the company.

Applied for the job on indeed, and it took one day to process. The hr gave me an OA first, then we scheduled an onsite interview. I had this interview on July, 2016. It lasted about an hour. The interview was not too bad, but I think the benefit is not good enough.

Typical first interview. Was then passed off for an immediate second interview a half hour later. Was called in for a third and final interview. Every interview required explaining everything on my resume. Examples of previous work were required. The third interview involved writing code on a whiteboard as a test of sorts. A few days later I received an offer of employment for a rather low, but acceptable wage. Before accepting the offer, I inquired more about what the company offers. I then found out that the company hires you as an independent contractor for the first 90 days and then votes as a whole whether or not to bring you on as a regular employee. Even as a regular employee, no benefits of any kind are offered. I then requested to negotiate a higher wage to compensate for having no benefits. The company refused to negotiate.

- It's a lot harder to write code on a whiteboard rather than in a text editor that shows errors and/or gives suggestions. This is good for them to do since it proves whether or not you know how to code, even if you have examples of work to back up what you've written on your resume. This company interviews very well.

It kicked off with a call where the CEO laid out the initial task. However, we never got to finish it because they changed priorities and there was some really bad mismanagement. Other than that, the rest of the process was pretty easy and straightforward.
