First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Chen & Fan.
Audit Associate
The interviewers were unprofessional. They called me into the office without any initial screening. No handshakes or eye contact. Nicky did most of the talking, Hanks was quiet. The office seemed very large with few employees, lacking energy or passion.
- Could you tell us about yourself?
Staff Accountant
I had the interview around May 2024. The interview was held via zoom speaking in Mandarin, and there were one manager and one partner for the process. It lasted around 20 minutes. They were kind and didn't ask technical or behavioral questions but focused more on the professional experience I had in the past.
- Introduce my background and any related accounting experience I have from the past.
Auditor
I had a Skype interview with a few partners. They asked me about my expectations for the company, my career path, why I was interested in this role, how long I saw myself staying, and if I had any questions about the company.
- What are your expectations for the company?
- What is your career path?
- Why are you interested in this position?
Audit Associate
A few days after I applied online, HR reached out to set up an in-person interview. On the interview day, I met with both the manager and a partner. The interview went really well and was pretty quick, mostly just a conversation. I received an offer about a week later.
- Can you share your reasons for leaving your current job?
