First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Chef Works.
Marketing
I had a screening call with HR, and she was super nice and informative. She then set me up for a video call with two marketing managers. But when I joined the Zoom, I was all by myself for about 10 minutes. I called the HR rep, and after being put on hold for a while, she told me the managers couldn't make it and we had to reschedule. I never heard back from anyone to reschedule, and after trying to reach out a few times, I just got ghosted. Didn't even get a rejection notice.

Business Data Analyst
First I had an interview with HR. Second, I had an onsite interview with the Hiring Manager, which was pretty straightforward regarding my work experience and skills. Questions were related to that. The third round of the interview was with the Hiring Manager and teammates, a final round, just a team meet and greet with the candidate.

I really liked how they stressed teamwork. Everyone I talked to seemed like they genuinely worked together. It gave me a good feeling about their team-first culture. It was great to see a company that actually lives up to its word about collaboration.

The people here are very sincere, genuine and transparent. Communication was excellent, the process was appropriate. I interviewed with heads of my department as well as another department manager which was nice to have a variety of personalities to meet with. It gave a good sense of the workplace.
