It was brief, that's for sure. The first and only interview was with a recruiter hiring for the new Denver office expansion for an AE team. The interview didn't even last 30 minutes. It was spent with me asking every question in the book, and these were open ended questions. The responses ranged from one word responses, to, "that's a question for the hiring manager". I asked about culture, sales process, reasons for Denver expansion, career progression at Checkr and beyond. I felt like I was asking the right questions, but the recruiter was not entertained. It was her Friday too. She let me know that she was moved from San Fransisco to Denver to build the Denver office. The hiring manager and I both went to the same college here in Denver, I thought he would at least provide a little feedback seeing as we were both Daniels alumni. Recruiter came back one business day later and let me know, "thanks, but no thanks". Her email wasn't even grammatically correct, I'm frustrated that the process was not taken more seriously by Checkr.

I had two interviews. First with HR, then the hiring Manager. Both were really nice people. I didn't move forward because I wasn't what they were looking for - someone with a strong drive to find new deals.

So, the process was a bit disorganized, they were always late for meetings. It started with a screener call, then a meeting with the hiring manager. After that, I met with two Senior Sales people, and finally, the last meeting was with the Director. They also didn't follow up in a timely manner.
