Virtual Executive Assistant
The interview process was seamless and well-organized, from the initial interview through personal assessments and onboarding. Everyone I interacted with was engaging, proactive, informative, and responsive. The entire experience was meticulously planned and executed. I appreciate everyone I've encountered and feel very comfortable with the company, especially with the opportunity to interact with other VAs.
- Could you research your preferred CRM tool, track the time spent, save the findings in Google Drive, and then share them?
Director
Initially, distinct milestones and dates were provided, but these were consistently missed, and more steps were added, making the process much longer than expected. Ultimately, an offer was extended and accepted with a start date a week away, pending reference checks. Three executive references were provided. Two calls were scheduled, but the third reference was ignored. Just before the first call, Valerie (CEO) canceled both scheduled calls. On the Friday before my Monday start date, I was notified that the offer was being rescinded in favor of another candidate. By accepting this offer, I had turned down another and withdrawn from other interview processes. Furthermore, the last-minute cancellations for my two references and the ghosting of the third were professionally embarrassing for me, through no fault of my own. Considering this was deemed acceptable procedure, it was a huge red flag regarding how the business operates and makes decisions.
- Complete a lengthy and often repetitive questionnaire upon application, along with a personality assessment.
- Respond to several hypothetical scenarios in an essay format.

Applied with my resume, then got an email to watch a video, do some tasks, fill out a long Google form, get a walkie-talkie app, send my resume picture on the app, and then do an asynchronous interview using walkie-talkie. Took a few business days. Then they called me and told me the pay was $25-$27 an hour, which I thought was low for my experience and as a 1099 contractor, and considering the type of clients they work with. Sharing the pay range earlier would have saved time.
- Can you tell me about the roles you're looking for?
- What are you interested in?
- What kind of pay are you seeking?
Executive Assistant
The interview process was easy and fun! Initially, a few steps were completed using a 'Walkie Talkie' type of program. Candidates who advanced moved on to a Zoom video interview with the CEO. The entire team was great to work with, and the interview was thorough yet non-intimidating.
- What was the number of hours per week you were hoping to work for them?
