It was a 3 step process. First, a 30 min phone chat with the recruiter. Then, a 30-45 min video call where they asked basic personality and technical questions. Lastly, around 30 mins of written tests, like multiple choice and explaining diagrams.
- What's the recommended number of keywords per ad group?
Digital Marketing Account Executive
I think it's important to make a good first impression during an interview, so I arrived 15 minutes early. The staff were really nice, but the interviewer, who said they were a co-founder, was over 30 minutes late and didn't even apologize. They kept interrupting me while I was answering questions and would say things like 'that's how we used to do it, but we do it better now.' They asked me how much my previous clients paid, and then said they don't work with 'penny pinchers.' When I explained my daily tasks at my last job, including writing unique content, I was interrupted again and told they charge more because they write original content. Confused, I repeated what I said, and they responded, 'Well, here, when we write it, we actually use our brains.' It was the most offensive, unprofessional interview I've ever experienced. I knew right then I didn't want to work there, even though I enjoyed talking to some of the other staff. I thanked them for their time and left. I heard back several weeks later that I didn't get the job, but I wasn't bothered because I knew it wasn't the right place for me.
- What is the average amount your clients pay?
- Can you describe your daily responsibilities in your current role?

They do a two part interview. I went through a set of 10-15 technical and practitioner test questions for the 1st round. Then on the second round, it was a personality and experience questions.
- Can you discuss how you would integrate a payment processing system on a PHP platform website?
Web Applications Developer
I got the job through a friend, and after setting up the interview, I was quickly brought in. Communication happened via email and phone. The interview was pretty casual. I had to show some of my work on the big screen and explain it in detail.
- Could you walk me through some of your previous work, presenting it on the big screen and explaining the details?
