First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Chartwells Schools.
English Teacher
I had 3 separate interviews with managers. It took a long time to finish them because our schedules didn't match up. I wish it had been just one interview with a panel instead of three different meetings.
- What is your availability to start?
- Could you describe your relevant experience?
Administrator
I had a phone chat with a recruiter, then the hiring manager wanted to talk to me online. After that, they asked me to come in person two days later. It was kinda annoying cause it was over 30 mins away and I had to shuffle my schedule. The interview went well, but then I just got an automated email saying no. It felt pretty disrespectful after I put in all that effort and didn't even get a real follow-up.
- Do you have experience in the food industry?
Teaching Assistant
They didn't really give me a proper interview. Instead, they asked me to do a trial teaching for a week as an assistant teacher. After that, they never got back to me about whether I was selected or not, and there was no information about salary or the working period.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Cafeteria Worker
The interview was super honest about the job duties and expectations. They were really clear and helpful in me deciding if I wanted the job.
- Were you able to handle fast paced and demanding work, and also could you work in a team environment?
