First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Chartwell Law.
Intern
Applied on Indeed.com. Got a call to set up an interview. Then had a 30-min Zoom interview. They emailed me back about a week later.
- What motivates your desire for this internship?
- What specifically draws you to the field of insurance law?
Associate Attorney
This was a remote interview, kind of a panel. There were supposed to be a Partner and two others, but one person didn't show up. So it was just the Partner and one support staff person, and it was pretty disorganized and awkward. The Partner's video kept cutting out, so it was hard to understand him, and I wasn't sure if they were even getting my answers. The staff member did most of the talking, like 80%. They were in different places. I think the person who missed it was supposed to lead because the questions were all over the place, nobody really introduced themselves, and we just started asking questions. The whole thing was over in less than 30 minutes. I probably should have been more on the ball, but I was kind of caught off guard.
- Can you discuss your litigation experience?
Associate
I had a 45-minute chat with two partners. We talked about the job, how I could grow with the firm, and their benefits and bonus system. It was a good interview.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What attracts you to Chartwell Law?
Paralegal
The interview was pretty straightforward. The attorneys asked about my experience and background and they were very friendly. It took about 30 to 40 minutes to conduct the entire interview.
- What are your future career aspirations?
