It was a pretty easy interview process with a panel. I felt like I had more knowledge than them, as upper leadership is very eager to hire anyone. Leaders from other departments asked me questions, but when I asked them questions, they didn't know the answers. I had to wait for my recruiter to get the answers.

The interview was pretty chill, with just a few standard questions. It felt more like a casual chat to see if I'd fit in personally rather than a deep dive into my teaching skills. I talked to the principal first, and she basically offered me the job within the first couple of minutes. After that, I had a quick chat with the curriculum coach I'd be working with. The whole thing took about 15 minutes, and the last 10 minutes were spent touring the school.

Behavioral Presentation

On the day of my interview, nobody seemed to expect me. They had to search the entire building to find the interviewers. Once we finally started, the interviewers kept checking their watches, which I thought was rude. After a panel interview, I met with the manager who asked me some role-related questions. Then, she introduced me to the CFO. They mentioned that the entire process would be completed that day and they'd inform me of the outcome.

The interview process for this specific school felt relaxed. I checked in with the secretary and then went into the principal's office to meet with the assistant principal and principal. They asked me to tell them a little about myself and shared some information about the school. After that, I answered about 10-15 questions. Once we were done, they offered me the job on the spot.

  • How do you accommodate students at all different learning levels?
  • What relevant experience do you possess?
