The interview process was quite long, spanning from early November to just before Christmas. It involved five stages. First, a recruiter call for basic English fluency check, then they switched to Spanish. This was followed by two challenging HackerRank coding tests, each with a 100-minute time limit for two difficult algorithmic problems. Next was a technical interview with the Engineering Manager, where I felt I performed very well. The fourth stage involved meeting potential teammates, which was surprisingly difficult; the advice is to appear less experienced than you are. This stage involved five consecutive interviews with different people, concluding with another meeting with the Engineering Manager. Finally, there was a waiting period for an offer, but I had to reach out after a week with no news. Ultimately, I was told I wouldn't receive an offer, possibly because my salary expectation of 90K euros was at the upper end of their 60-90K range, and another candidate might have accepted a lower offer. My advice is to apply to multiple roles and be cautious about disclosing involvement in other interview processes.

Had an initial chat with the Head of Talent, then a one-hour Zoom with the hiring manager. The whole day was spent on Zoom talking with product, engineering, and the director of engineering. Finally, got an offer. Everyone was really nice and seemed genuinely excited about the possibility of a new teammate. The offer came back pretty quickly and was pretty good. Recruiters were on top of things and always knew what was up. Corporate stuff took a bit due to approvals, but the recruiter kept me in the loop the whole time.

The interview process involved a coding challenge with 4 questions to be completed in 60 minutes. This was followed by a final round interview with a team member. During this final round, the interviewer asked many specific knowledge-based questions that needed a deep understanding of the subject. Before moving to a new topic, they asked for a self-rating on a scale of 1 to 10 regarding knowledge of that topic, without clarifying what a '10' meant. Interestingly, the interviewer wasn't sure if I was interviewing for an internship or a full-time role until I clarified at the start.
