I had a phone interview with HR first, and it went well. She seemed nice. Make sure you check out their company website and know what they do! A few days later, I was called in for an interview with the Customer Service Manager. The building was strange; half of it is empty. It seemed like an easy job once you got past the learning curve of their funky system and product details.

I had a phone screen with HR, then an on-site interview with a few people. There was also a written quiz on PLC knowledge and a hands-on PLC programming exercise. We also did a plant tour. The quiz was multiple choice, about 50 questions, and I had 30 minutes. Questions covered basic computer skills like defining RAM, PLC-specific topics, and troubleshooting. I guess I did okay since they invited me back.

I had an interview with someone who had my resume and cover letter already printed. They asked me general biology and chemistry questions and why I was interested in the role. After the interview, we toured the facility. It took more than 3 weeks to hear back about the outcome.

It was great fun and very knowledgable. It started off with a 30 min phone interview with The VP of engineering and then it took like a few day for them to get back to me for a in-person interview. I was met there by the manufacturing supervisor and the VP of engineering.
