First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Charm City Concierge.
Corporate Concierge
I applied online and then had a phone screening. After that, I was invited for an in-person interview. It was pretty standard, with two women interviewing me. They mostly asked scenario-based questions to see how creative I am. They emphasized that it's an independent role. At the end, they said they'd review everyone and get back to me in a few weeks. The main issue was that they went completely silent after the interview. I sent two detailed thank-you notes the next day to the interviewers, and never heard back. A week later, I emailed them again to check on my application status, and still nothing. I understand if they went with someone else, but ghosting me after promising to be in touch is really disrespectful. I took time off to go there and write those notes, and to be ignored felt like being disregarded. A quick email back would have been easy. It's a shame because I was really interested, but their unprofessional handling of follow-ups showed me it's not a place I'd want to work.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Can you share an instance where you demonstrated creativity?
- How do you manage interactions with challenging individuals?
Corporate Concierge
First, I had a phone screen with a manager. After that, I was invited to meet with one or two of the managers. The next step was to meet with property managers to ensure it was a good fit for me. I ended up meeting with two different sets of property managers.
- How would you handle challenging customers?
Corporate Concierge
The interview process was pretty standard. I had a phone interview after submitting my application. Then, I went straight to an in-person interview. Two people were there and asked some great questions. I ended up talking a lot about myself and my interests, which was kind of unexpected in an interview. I felt pretty comfortable and like myself the whole time.
- Could you elaborate on your marketing experience, distinguishing between large-scale and grassroots efforts, and whether you prefer working in a team or independently?
Experience Manager
I had a phone screen and then a zoom interview with two people. It was pretty simple.
- What is your experience with client success?
