Media Manager
I applied for the Media Manager position on June 6th and heard back from a recruiter on June 9th about setting up a phone interview for the week of June 15th. I responded the same day on LinkedIn, expressing my excitement. We scheduled a call for June 17th. The recruiter didn't confirm or respond to my confirmation message. I prepared for the call on the 17th, but the recruiter called me at 2:08 PM, just as I was about to email about rescheduling. I tried calling back immediately several times but got no answer or voicemail. She finally emailed at 2:26 PM to reschedule, confirming that the 2:08 PM call was hers. We rescheduled for the next day, June 18th, and she called at the planned time. The 30-minute call went okay; I answered all her questions, though I lacked extensive experience with two of their main platforms, which I hadn't claimed to have. She mentioned they were interviewing more candidates and would provide an update by the end of the following week. I sent a thank-you email on June 18th with no response. I followed up again on June 30th, also with no response. On July 8th, I sent a final follow-up, asking for feedback since they had reposted the job ad on July 7th. Unsurprisingly, there was no response. It's tough job hunting, especially now. Getting some feedback would have been nice, but I'll just take the interview practice. I was really excited about the company and its products, but their unprofessional, unorganized, and dehumanizing approach has made me question whether I'd want to work there, especially seeing them repost multiple positions. Update (7/29): The recruiter finally emailed on July 29th to apologize and gave detailed feedback on why I wasn't selected. I probably wouldn't have gotten that email if I hadn't posted my review, but I respect them for doing the right thing.

Social Media Manager
I went through three interviews for this job. The first two were phone calls, the first one was really short, like 10 minutes. The second phone interview was with a more senior person on the marketing team. The last interview was in person with the VP of Marketing and HR. Everyone I met was really professional and nice. Usually, interviews can feel super stiff, but these felt more like a chat, which was cool. The interviewers asked good questions and seemed to know exactly what they were looking for in this role. Honestly, it was one of the best interview experiences I've had.
- Can you tell me about the best job you've ever had, and also the worst?
- Could you explain your reasoning?
Recruiter
The interview process involved a short 10-minute video call as the first step, followed by a face-to-face meeting with two team members. The final round was a panel interview with senior leaders, which was quite professional and offered a good feel for the company culture. They were upfront and flexible, especially since I had another offer. The questions were pretty standard, and they dug deeper if my answers weren't fully detailed, which was thought-provoking and enjoyable to connect with the team. This whole experience solidified that it was the right place for me, leading me to forgo a third interview elsewhere and turn down the other offer to focus solely on this opportunity. It was a risk, but it has been the best career choice I've made.
- Can you describe your best and worst boss experiences?
Process Engineer
I met with two senior leaders separately. They were both very polite and professional, but the conversations were also lighthearted and fun. The interviews were mostly informal and focused on the company culture and my potential fit. We also discussed my technical background and experience working with cross-functional teams on projects. They mentioned their people-first approach to work, emphasizing creating a comfortable environment for optimal performance. We also covered the company's direction and vision, and how I could contribute to achieving their mission. Although the interviews were a bit unconventional (not held in the office), they provided a clear understanding of the job expectations and work environment. I'm eager to start, as I believe I can learn a great deal from them.

- Could you describe the tools you employ to evaluate processes and pinpoint areas for enhancement?
