I talked to the manager at the restaurant while it was open and we sat at a dining table. He asked me some things to see if I knew what the job was really like and if it was a good fit for me. They need everyone to work at least one weekend day, and they get really busy around holidays, so they need people to work more hours then.

The first chat is super chill and doesn't need much prep. But, the training part can be a real challenge. You'll have like 4 or 5 tough tests on the menu, covering appetizers, main courses, liquor, wine, and beer. They expect you to know the menu really well.
