First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Charles & Colvard.
Social Media Content Strategist
The interview process was pretty standard, with about two rounds. I got a verbal offer in the second round and then a formal written offer. After we talked salary, HR rescinded the offer with no reason given. I asked the hiring manager for info and feedback but heard nothing back. They then blocked me on Instagram. Super unprofessional and they didn't keep their word. Wouldn't suggest this role for a serious career.
- Were basic interview questions asked?
Social Media Manager
I met my supervisor and HR Director at a career fair on a Thursday. Then, I had a phone interview on Friday. Following that, I had four separate in-person interviews on Monday. I accepted the job on Tuesday. I loved how quickly I was able to move through the process!
- Can you tell me a little about yourself, and how you stay organized?
- Do you have any field-specific questions for us?
- What are your salary expectations?
HR Generalist
I did a phone screen first, then they had me come in for an in-person interview. I met with a bunch of different people at the company. The whole thing was pretty well organized and the paperwork for the screenings was straightforward to use.
- Can you describe how you would handle a specific situation?
E-Commerce Director
The company has no class and no common courtesy. After traveling and going through the entire process, I never heard a single word from them. No responses to my emails or calls. I have told several people about what a classless company they are.
