The interview felt pretty laid-back, mostly just a chat. I talked with the founder, who asked me about my background and interests and how I might fit in. He shared his vision for the organization, what they do now, and where they're going. It's not a guaranteed hire for everyone, you still need to pass. The main thing is showing you have skills that could help the non-profit grow. Since it's like a startup, if they think you'll be useful, you'll probably get hired. To get a better role, you need to show real tech skills or something similar. If you're just nice and qualified, you'll likely do data entry. If you seem disorganized, lazy, or lack a work ethic (in emails, your resume, or in person), you won't get an offer. Even if you start with a basic role, it's not the end – you can prove yourself by seeking out tougher tasks and new challenges once you're in.
