First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Champion Management.
Marketing Manager
applied via job board and within a week or so got contacted to setup initial virtual interview. Started with a brief 1 hour interview with the hiring manager. They asked marketing questions relevant to the job and how close it related to my background. A week later I got a 2nd interview where it was in person to meet at their office since its a hybrid job. I got to meet the team and meet upper management as well. I got to ask my questions more in detail since this 2nd interview was about 2 hours on site. However, after multiple attempts on only got 1 response on where management was discussing the role. The hiring manager ask me to follow up later that week to which I did and have not heard back after my attempts.
- Do you have prior marketing experience in the restaurant sector?
Digital Marketing Account Executive
The interview process was pretty straightforward. First, there was a quick 30-minute chat with the hiring manager, where they asked the usual questions and described the job. Then, I had a second interview with the Senior VP of PR. We had a slight technical issue, but she was really nice, patient, and understanding. Both conversations felt relaxed, and they offered great feedback as we talked.
- How do you manage under pressure?
- Can you share an example of a campaign you were proud of?
- Can you describe a campaign that didn't perform as expected?
Graphic Designer
The interviewer seemed unprofessional and unprepared, as if they hadn't reviewed my application. They basically accused me of fabricating my experience. The company ghosted me after the interview, even though I sent a follow-up email about my application status. Given this and a bad review from a former employee I know, I'm actually glad I'm not working there.
- Can you walk me through your design process?
Digital Marketing Specialist
The interview process wasn't too strenuous. The problem is that I didn't ever hear back from them. I find that to be discouraging and hope the team that interviewed me has learned from it. I did follow up but no answer. The person who interviewed me though was great.
- Can you tell me about your experience with paid ads in digital marketing?
