First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Challenger.
Business Development Manager
The interview process was comprehensive and equitable. It started with an assessment, followed by an in-person interview that included a role-playing exercise. I also had discussions with other team members and met with key leadership stakeholders.
- Can you share an instance where you had to communicate a new or mission-critical concept to an executive?
Talent Acquisition
It was a very long day of interviews, and they didn't really care about our comfort or giving us breaks. It really shows the poor work/life balance they have there. The interview is supposed to be a chance for the company to impress us, but they really missed the mark.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
Sales Executive
I had a call with a recruiter, then a second call got rescheduled the morning of due to an internal meeting announcement. It was rescheduled again on 1-day notice, and they sent links to a personality screening tool that was supposed to be like selling to customers, but it wasn't about selling skills. After trying to follow up twice with no answer, I gave up. I didn't think I'd be a good fit if this is how hiring works.
- Bob, Sally, and Sue all took the train to work. Bob arrived 15 minutes before Sue. Sally arrived after Sue but before Bob. What has to be true about Sally?
Customer Success Manager
First, I talked to the recruiter, then the hiring manager, and finally, there was a panel interview where I had to review some material they sent beforehand. It was a pretty easy process overall, and the hiring managers were all super friendly.
- Describe a challenging situation you encountered at work and how you resolved it.
