Behavioral Technical

The interview process had 3 rounds. It started with HR, then I spoke with US-based project leads who were really nice and intuitive. After that, I had a virtual meeting with the vertical head. The final round was in-person at the St. Catharine office with a team of 3 Project Team Leads. The HR team was super helpful. The questions were mostly about past projects, except for one during the last round where someone got into a debate with me, which I politely exited. I could tell he was upset about something.

The interview process involved a technical phone interview with the lead, a chat with HR, and a final video call with the VP and Team Leader. It was a good experience overall. The team leader was approachable and happy to answer questions throughout. The technical managers seemed great. The recruiter was also easy to reach. The only downside was the HR's slow email replies initially. I also didn't get a response about the benefits package until the offer, but that's fine. I'd really like HR to at least reply to emails though. Thankfully, I found the email addresses myself and sent thank you notes. It was a good experience.

I had a phone interview with an HR person first, and then they offered me an in-person interview. For the in-person, there were 3 interviewers, all upper level engineers and employees at the office. They started by telling me about the company and the work they do all over the region, with lots of detail. Then they asked me about my internship experience, my CAD knowledge/skill level, courses I took, and my senior engineering design project, specifically how that project allowed me to experience teamwork and its issues. They also asked about salary expectation and willingness to work overtime if required.

Behavioral

The interview process involved two phone calls. First, I spoke with an HR specialist from Atlanta. Then, I had a conversation with my two future managers. Usually, the second interview takes place on-site, but I couldn't make it due to prior commitments. The interview was mainly behavioral, focusing on my past work experience and campus activities. It was a relaxed and enjoyable experience that really showed the company culture at CHA.
