First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CGS.
Customer Service Representative
It was a role-playing discussion, followed by some questions and hypothetical situations. The discussion was friendly and helpful, and the information was useful and encouraging. They told me I was good for the job immediately after the interview. I also had to do an easy English test with multiple choice answers.
- If you were sent back to the 90s and could only sell your current phone to return, how would you persuade someone to buy it?
Technical Support Specialist
I had an interview a couple of weeks ago and it seemed great. They told me that training was supposed to start January 30th, 2022. Then I got a call a few days later saying they had to postpone the training. I didn't hear from them again, so a week or two later I called them back. The recruiter told me they didn't know if there would be any more training in February 2022. Meanwhile, I had just left my old job thinking training would start that week. It's now February 2nd and I still haven't started the training. I'm really disappointed because now I'm without a job.
- Were you familiar with computers and the back outlet of a PC?
- What is your experience duration in customer service?
Customer Support Analyst
I had a phone interview with the recruiter, then a 3-hour in-person interview with three different people. They kept me really informed before the in-person meeting, and it went well. It felt more like a chat with some questions about my background and abilities, so the 3 hours flew by. I met with the manager, then someone who'd been a Customer Support Analyst for 2 years, and then another long-time employee. It was a good experience overall, but I didn't accept the offer.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What sparked your interest in this role?
- What do you know about Blue Cherry Software?
Intern
The interview process was straightforward. It started with a recruiter call, then a technical assessment, and finally an HR check. Overall, it was a positive experience. I'm currently working in CGS and really enjoying it. You'll likely get a good learning experience here.
- Questions covered Java String concepts.
- Questions about the Collection framework were asked.
- I was questioned on Oops Concepts.
