First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CGS Administrators.
Customer Service Supervisor
So I applied and had to do this online test, which was weird because someone had to watch me on webcam the whole time. I wasn't comfortable with it, but they never offered an in-person option even though I asked. Then I got a phone call to set up a face-to-face interview about a week later. I did the interview, and then heard nothing for over 5 weeks, even though I was still listed as 'under consideration.' I couldn't even find anyone to contact. After 5 weeks, I randomly got an email asking me to fill out some forms, like they forgot I already interviewed in person. I emailed back to say I already did the in-person interview. A week later, I followed up again, and the recruiter finally replied, saying I was still being considered and needed to fill out a form. Just as I was about to do it, they sent another email saying the position was cancelled. All this for nothing after almost two months of hassle.
- How would you approach a conversation with an employee about disciplinary actions?
Auditor
Applied online and got a phone interview with HR. Then had phone interviews with supervisors and managers. They asked typical, not-too-difficult questions. You should be familiar with your resume and tell a good story about what you did for each position. After the interview, there will be a writing test about audit concepts and government audit. It's not too hard if you took an audit class before. They provide a PDF with info on government audit, and all the answers are there, so don't panic.
- Can you discuss your experience with xxx?
Appeals Analyst
I had a laid back telephone interview with the hiring manager and director. They asked basic questions. I got offered the job for way less than market rate. I counter offered twice. They refused to go up more than 2k. After my second counter, my recruiter never reached out. 3 days later, I received a call from someone completely new asking if I was accepting their offer of 2k above the original offer.
- Can you describe a situation where you had a conflict with a coworker?
- Please explain your motivation for applying to this position.
- Have you ever resolved a company problem with your solution, and was it put into practice?
Software Developer
It was a group interview, with a few people from different areas. It was a bit confusing at first on the phone trying to figure out who was talking, but after about 10 minutes it became clear who was asking all the questions.
- Can you tell me about the certifications you have and how long you've possessed them?
