First, I had a screening call with the recruiter. Then, I interviewed with a panel of two people from the team. The interviews were virtual and pretty laid back. It was a bit unusual that the recruiter kept his video off during our call, but it was a simple chat.

So the interview process can differ a bit between companies, but it usually has a few steps. First, there's a screening interview to see if you meet the basic requirements. Then, you'll probably have technical or skills tests. After that, you might talk to people on the team, your potential manager, and sometimes even higher-ups. Some places also do behavioral interviews to check how you'd handle different scenarios. It might end with a final chat or a job offer. To get ready, you should look into the company, practice common interview questions, and be sure to show off your skills and what you've done.
