First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cerevel Therapeutics.
Senior Scientist
First, I had a chat with HR, then I met with the department head. After that, I gave an invited talk and went through a full day of interviews. I spoke with people from different departments, and we had some good discussions, a case study, and they asked some tough questions about my past experience.

The hiring manager interview came first, followed by interviews with two team members. Then there might be an offer. The hiring manager interview was disorganized, and the job posting wasn't accurate to what they were looking for, which made me uninterested in continuing.
- Do you have experience managing samples?
Operations Specialist
First I had a phone screen with the recruiter, then I had a Micosoft Teams interview with the hiring manager. After that, there were more Micosoft Teams interviews with different people from the team, and I met with each person one-on-one. It was nice that everyone was open to questions and spoke positively about the company culture.
- Could you share one of your weaknesses?
Insights Manager
The interview process took over three months to complete, and there wasn't much communication between stages. It was a long wait between interviews with no updates. It started with a phone screen, then a one-on-one interview, followed by some panel interviews.
