Senior Program Manager
The interview process involved three main parts: first, an HR pre-screening call. Then, there was a more in-depth 1-on-1 with the Line Manager, focusing on past experiences and hypothetical scenarios. Finally, a case study was presented to a panel.
- Can you elaborate on the Channel Strategy?
Program Manager
The interview process involved meeting with 6 people throughout the day, with each meeting lasting from half an hour to an hour. This included a meeting with the Hiring Manager. I had two good phone interviews prior to this. It seemed like a nice company with a clinical focus, but HR was a bit disorganized. They promised lunch but it didn't happen. Ultimately, they decided to downgrade the position from Program Manager to two Project Manager roles. I did not receive an offer.
- Can you describe your management techniques?
Program Manager
I had a 30 min chat with the recruiter where the job sounded like a good match for my background. Then, I had a 30 min interview with the hiring manager, and it was pretty bad. The HM didn't even say hi or ask about me. They just started grilling me about the company, the tech's biochemical mechanism, and super specific program management details. They were really aggressive and talked down to me. It's hard to imagine they manage programs well with such poor people skills.
- Could you explain the biochemical mechanism of the company's core technology?
