First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Century Complete.
Sales Consultant
The interview process was pretty in-depth and comprehensive. It started with a 45 minute phone screening with the recruiter, then a one hour video interview with the regional VP of sales, an one hour in person meeting with the regional VP of sales and finally a 45 minute interview with the national VP of sales. Everyone I talked with was very nice and I enjoyed the process. There were alot of questions about your sales background, how you manage priorities, overcome objections, etc.. I ended up declining the offer for another position with better hours/work-life balance.
- What do you know about Century Complete?
Builder
The interview was very casual, held at the sales office. They asked about my past experience in the building industry and what I'd expect to be doing. They answered all my questions honestly and fully.
- How long have you been in the building trade?
- What kinds of houses have you constructed?
Construction Superintendent
It was a fair and insightful interview where they asked good questions about my experience and how I fit the role. They also covered all the job responsibilities, company info, and performance expectations. Plus, they threw in some hypothetical situations and asked for my ideas on contingency plans.
- How would you deal with an unhappy homeowner?
