Applied on their website around July, got a message about two weeks later to schedule a phone interview. Talked to HR about qualifications on my resume and salary ranges. Then there was about a month of silence. After that, I got a message to come in for an in-person interview. I met with the hiring manager for about an hour. He had my resume and some highlighted points to discuss, mainly looking for attention to detail, system improvement track record, and enthusiasm. After that, I met with the team and the hiring manager wasn't in the room. I talked with the team for about half an hour and asked questions about the daily tasks. About a week later, I got another interview request. This one was supposed to be an hour and a half with the CFO, Controller, and Director of Sales. The hiring manager gave me a heads-up on what to expect with each. The CFO was the toughest, very smart and wants to see ambition. The controller was nice and asked some accounting questions. The sales director asked about customer service, organization, and communication style. These interviews ran long, about 2.5 hours. About a week to two weeks after that, I followed up with HR. The hiring manager called soon after and offered me the job.

It was pretty informal, seemed like they weren't really prepared and were just going through the motions, but we checked the box. The interview was with top leadership. One person asked a question, didn't listen to my answer, and then asked me to repeat it.

First, I had a 30-minute chat with the hiring recruiter where they asked a lot about my experience and past jobs. Then, the manager took me around the plant, showed me the facility, and asked about my experience and if I felt I could handle the work I was seeing.

First interview is on campus, which is a one on one interview. An onsite interview follows if you are advanced, and will more than likely be two or more people from the department which you are looking to work in. Interview questions are typical behavioral questions. Go in with confidence and you should be fine.
