First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Centre Technologies.
Systems Administrator
The first interview went well and I felt comfortable. The second interview was worse because they used a metric system to grade knowledge, which felt unprepared and strange as they hadn't done it before. I think asking open-ended questions and maybe having a knowledge test would have been better than what happened. They were not good at following up throughout the process. The whole interview process took two months. In the end, they never responded with a yes or no, they just ghosted me.
- On a scale of 1 to 5, how would you rate your knowledge of O365?
IT Help Desk Support
It was a pretty chill interview with fewer technical questions than I expected. They offered me the job right after, saying HR would reach out for onboarding. A few days later, I followed up about the timeline and they told me they couldn't move forward due to budget changes, but would keep my info for future openings and apologized. Then a recruiter called about a temp role for the same position. I said sure, but heard nothing. Later, I saw an ad for the same job they claimed they didn't have the budget for. I suspect they realized the market rate increased and tried to lowball candidates.
- What motivates you to seek employment with this company?
Technical Consultant
I went through a 3 part interview process. Started with a short call with the HR person responsible for the job opening. Once it seemed like I had the right skills, I had a technical interview with the manager of the group. The final interview was with the owner of the company to make sure I was a fit for the company culture.
- Can you design a generic solution to provide WAN and Internet access for a company that has 4 remote sites with 40 users each, and a main site with 400 users?
IT Consultant
First, I spoke with HR who told me about the company's business and how it's growing. They have a really flat management structure and a nice place to work. After that, the manager interviewed me and asked some technical questions, and then we just chatted about random stuff.
- Can you describe your previous work experience?
